Roanoke Academy for the Sorcerous Arts is located on the Floating Island of Roanoke.
Currently, Roanoke Island is moored in the Hudson River, just north of Storm King Mountain in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
It occupies the same area, though it is larger, as what the Unwary call Pollepel Island (also called Bannerman Island.)
